Patty Ross, CEO

Patty's always wanted to be a journalist...watching the news with her father at a young age. She was Editor-In-Chief of her high school newspaper and pursued journalism and eventually Public Relations and marketing in school.

She has well over 25 years experience in marketing and has been in the online space since 1998 where she developed an e-commerce program for a gourmet gift company into a million dollar business.

She has spent 20 years helping the wine industry gain traction online and has since branched out to help other industries grow their brands including restaurant, financial, legal, education, health and beauty, motorsports, landscape design, cbd/cannabis, political activism, non profits and more.

Golden State Marketing, and her other business, California Wine Marketing, were founded in 2006.

Patty enjoys teaching classes on various marketing topics for SCORE chapters across the country, SBDC offices, Los Angeles Business Source Centers,  several Women Business Centers, chambers of commerce, as well as private organizations. She has also been invited to speak at several private conferences. 

Patty is also a marketing consultant for two Los Angeles Business Source Centers and is a marketing advisor for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Resilient Business Advising Program mentoring business owners.

Patty believes in getting involved in the local community by serving on boards and volunteering her time helping small businesses. 

Patty served as Marketing Director on the Central Coast California board of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) 2019-2020, and served as Chapter President for NAWBO Los Angeles 2020-2021.

She served as Co-Chair of the Small Business, Labor, and Employment Committee for Biz Fed Los Angeles in 2021 and currently serves on the board of the Venice Chamber of Commerce and as Membership Director of NAWBO Los Angeles.
