I started Golden State Marketing (formerly known as Virtually For You) in 2006 after working in the wine industry, helping wineries develop their online business at a website CRM platform company. When I left there, a few wineries decided they needed some help with their online business and hired me on as a “virtual employee” to help them grow their online business and help manage their wine clubs.
This proved to be cost effective for the clients because I did not require office space, equipment, benefits and other typical overhead costs associated with a traditional employee. That meant more money could go to their marketing budgets! I grew my business within the wine industry and had clients as large as 400,000 case producers to as small as 500 cases produced annually. From my own home and using my own equipment, assisted with website updates, social media set up and management, e-mail campaigns, virtual customer support via phone and email and more. During this time, I also assisted a former employer in the gift basket/gourmet food industry with virtual marketing and customer support. My love and passion for motorcycles expanded me into assisting motorcycle industry companies with similar services. I also spent a few years working in the marketing department of a regional credit union. I love helping businesses grow their business with consistent and efficient marketing efforts!
